Plaintiff Charles O. Brobbey was a 52 year old taxi driver  operating his yellow cab on  7th Avenue Southbound , which was under construction and a two lane roadway.   An UBER driver Mohammed made an illegal left turn in front of him from the right lane  causing the impact.  Mr. Brobbey suffered injuries including  neck , back and a torn right labrum which required surgery . 

A summary jury trial was held and the jury awarded him  $140,000 for past and future pain and suffering .
